Why visit our chiropractors in Gatineau?
A chiropractor is a specialist of the spine. He relieves joint, muscle and nerve pain. Did you know that your spine protects your nervous system? The nervous system allows the body to control every cell, every muscle and every organ in your body. It is therefore essential. The chiropractor, through manual therapy, will reduce the nervous interference that prevents the body from expressing itself freely.
5 reasons to consult a chiropractor
- Reduce headaches
- Improve posture
- Reduce tension in the joints
- Relieve back pain
- Slow down the onset of osteoarthritis
The chiropractor is a partner in recovery and maintenance of your health. Chiropractic is a natural technique without drugs or surgery.
What are the specialties of our chiropractors at the clinic in Hull?
A new technology has appeared at the Clinique Chiropratique du Portage:
The SpineMED decompression table.
This is one of our particularities at our clinic. This table is approved by Health Canada. It stretches the spine gently for 30 minutes. This table is controlled by a computer and is equipped with sensors. This table is ideal for people suffering from lower back or neck pain, herniated discs, sciatica, headaches and numbness in the arms or in the legs.
Our chiropractors, Dr. Patrick and Émilie Gaudreau, are very interested in posture correction. Poor posture is often a reflection of a person’s overall health. Physically, a misalignment of the vertebrae is likely to lead to accelerated degeneration of the spine.
Using the Chiropractic Biophysics (CPB) technique, our chiropractors correct and restore the alignment of your spine. To achieve this, our chiropractors use chiropractic adjustments, manual mobilizations, exercise prescriptions and tractions.
Be careful. Do not use this type of traction without explanation from the chiropractor. This type of traction allows the head to be moved backwards in order to create extension and reduce vertebral compression.
At the clinic, on site, we have cervical traction chairs. These chairs are offered only on site under supervision. It is free for our patients to come and exercise.
The purpose of this exercise is to reshape the ligaments and tendons of the spine in order to straighten the cervical curve properly.
Where is our clinic located in Hull?
